Hi Lyn,
You have to use the cursor to move to the top of a cell (cell border)
if that is what you what you mean. And I'm pretty sure that is not
what you mean. Can you clarify what you want to do and what happens
instead.

If you mean the arrow will not move up into the cell above, perhaps
you have turned on protection. Data, Protection, unprotect ....
Or you have limited the scroll range with a macro.

Dear David,
My problem is that i cannot use up arrow key to move next
coursor up. Now if i want to go to next cell up i have to
use mouse to point the cell. I can use Ctl+Home to get top
of the cell but, i can't use the up arrow keys. The rest of
the arrow keys are ok. I check the protection status but
it is same as the others PC.
thank you again,
Lyn

Since I came here through a Google search, thought of posting what happened to me so as to help persons coming hereafter.

I was using Excel (2K) and suddenly I coudlnt move through the Cells using Arrow Keys. To make a long story short, the problem was that Scroll Lock (In Keyboard) was enabled which resulted in the above problem.

Hope this helps :thumb:

Excel Arrow Key Issue

Scrollbar lock on your keyboard in ON. Just disable/OFF it by pressing SCROLL LOCK key on your keyboard.
