unable to log off websites

I am using IE 6.0 - when I go to websites that require a log in, whenever I
sign off or log out, I keep getting error messages - there are different
kinds of error messages from different sites and on one site, it simply goes
back to the first page I get after I sign in. I have cleared the cookies,
deleted temp files, etc. This only happens on one laptop - when I use the
other computers to visit the same sites, I am able to log off - thus, I am
thinking some setting is wrong on this one but am not sure what it is.

Any help would be appreciated!
