Unable to locate components(MSIMG32.dll)

I have Win Xp Prof. I don't have my install disk for it at
the moment. The problem is that when I click on my general
help & support button, I get a prompt that says
(helpctr.exe-Unable To Locate Component), also other
programs, like the prog. compatabilty wizard, add & remove
program, display proporties and a few others, will do the
same. My Style Xp and other programs also come up with
this prompt: (This application has failed to start because
MSIMG32.dll was not found. Re-installing the application
may fix the problem). It doesn't fix the problem. Majority
of the time , I always get prompted with MSIMG32.dll or
the rundll32.exe messages. Last, when I click on my
Internet Explorer, after 2 sec. I loose controll of my
mouse and it just slowly moves around the screen. It says
on top that the Internet Explorer is Not Responding. I
have to just turn off my computer from it's tower. So now
the only other way I get to internet is through the MSN
Explorer.

These days most of us are recommending HijackThis to identify and assist in
the removal of these bad guys. **Post your files to any of the following

Also update your virus definitions and then run a full system scan. From
now on, do both daily.
