Unable to load any MDB

Hi,

I have a problem where I'm not able to open any MDB files in Access 2003. I
have tried double clicking on the file, opening through Access, importing the
data into a new database in all cases access just sits there and does
nothing, not even display a message.

I have tried to repair the file using the built in tools, but after
selecting the file in the dialoge box and double clicking on it, access
justcloses the box and sits there doing nothing.

I really need to get this sorted, any help is appriciated.

It sounds like your Access installation got corrupted since it happened to
different databases you have tried.

Have you tried repairing or re-installing Access / Office?
 
i have tried repairing the install but not re-installing, I will try that but
I don't expect much as its been like it since I installed it....
