Unable to install software

Hello, I have a strange problem here. My AD user account
is a member of my local administrators group. When i try
to install software now, i get a message stating that the
software cannot be installed because my user id is not
memeber of the local administrators group. I am really a
member of the admins, i can even edit the local admins
group, i just can't install software. Any ideas?

There is a documented bug - if its win 2k spp4 - there is a patch
available

Where is this documented at? I am having the same
problem.
