When attempting to install an application on Windows 2000, I get the
following error:

"The installer was interrupted before Application could be
installed. You need to restart the installer to try again.
Click "Close" to exit."

I have read several forums and FAQs, but I haven't found any reason for such a behaviour. The error appears as soon I press the final "Next" button, even before the progress bar is usually displayed. The installer was built on another computer using Visual Studio .NET 2003 and successfully installs on other computers. After I tried to install this aplication, no other aplication can not be install on this computer. The installer always returning this error!

I have restarted computer but the problem persisted, I also try to restart Win Installer Service (manualy throught Command Prompt and throught Control Panel/Administrative Tools/Services). The log file from Windows Installer haven't indicated nothing suspesious.

Any suggestions on what could be causing this problem?
