Unable to find a key in registry...

R

Rick H. Fuller

I am looking for a registry key that associates a program called Advanced
Administrative Tools to the date on the pc. I am trying to delete that key.
I have used Registry Drill, Ace, Advanced registry Optimizer, JV16 power
tools, Clean my pc and have gone throught the registry looking for aatools
as well as glocksoft, (the software manufacturer.) Nothing turns up. Yet
as I try to install the trial version after having deleted it 6 months ago
the program will not work. I have used the 30 day evaluation period... Can
anyone in here help me out.???

thank you
rick

Sorry, but I know nothing of "Advanced Administrative Tools". Did
you contact them and ask how you can get a second trial installation?

Since it appears that your search of the registry turned up nothing
it may not be there. Or it may, but you have not found it yet. The
"lockout" could be stored in a file. It could be that a directory or
file is still present. It could be that the application wrote data
to otherwise unused sectors on disk.

The developers will know and if you ask may tell you how to try their
product again. That is the best source IMO.
