Using XP SP2, IE 6.0 SP1, I am not able to download anything using IE6.0
(aka from downloads.com or any SP from Microsoft). I get the error
message that Explorer did not find the requested file. A logOFF/logONN again
will fix the problem for a few minutes but the problem will show up again
and again a few minutes later.

I already had the problem under XP SP1. Thought SP2 would fix it but no
luck. How can I get ride of this annoying bug ? A sfc /scannow did not
help.

Thanks in adavance.

First thing I would do is check for spyware, which is going to be hard
if you cannot download anything. You'd need to ask a friend to download
something like Adaware or Spybot for you, so you can install it and
run.
