Unable to download files

Hi there,

I have windows vista premium with Norton Internet security 2007 and internet
explorer 7 on my system.
When I try to download files from the internet and I select save it does not
download the full file for example I tried downloading the Company of heroes
patch of around 115MB and although it stated the download was complete it had
only downloaded a few KB? I try to run this file direct from the site and it
states it is not a valid WIN32 application (which I would imagine it is due
to not getting the full file).

Can anyone help as its rather frustrating.

use a download manager to handle the downloads. Both of these are free and
do not contain any spyware-malware.

Thanks I will try this. The first one would not let me download the file
(same problem) the second one seems to be coming down!!

its very possible norton is interfering.
might look into replacing it with something less intrusion.

avg and avast are free virus scanners that work well with vista.
