Unable to delete worksheet

I had this problem earlier this year, fixed it, and
haven't a clue how I did it.

Now my boss has this problem.
When he right clicks on the sheet tab the delete option is
greyed out.

What do we do?

Excel 2002 SP2

Could it be that the workbook is protected?

Tools|Protection|Unprotect Workbook
(you may need a password)

That's where I'd start.
