Unable to delete file folder.....?

I have two file folders that are empty and XP will not let
me delete them. They are folders I created. Dose anyone
have any idea's on how I can get rid of them?

Hi, Jim.

You haven't told us the names of the folders and that MIGHT be significant,
if you gave them illegal names, for example. But that probably is not the
problem. You also haven't told us HOW you tried to delete them, and that
may be very significant.

Can you remove those folders from the "DOS" window? Use the Remove
Directory command with the /s switch to include all subfolders and files in
the removal: rd <foldername> /s

If that doesn't work, post back telling us exactly what you did and what
results you saw. "I tried everything" or just "I tried to delete them" are
not descriptive enough for us to diagnose the problem. Quote any error
messages verbatim.
