unable to delete a record

After using my Access database everyday, today for some reason a rogue entry
has appeared that has a minus number in the AutoNumber field and a series of
squares in all the data boxes. When I am looking at this record on a Form
basis it crashs Access. When I select that row within the table and try and
delete it I get the error message " the search key was not found in any
record"

Any suggestions as to how I can delete this one record?

Have you tried a compact and repair
Have you looked at:

Failing all else, how about copying all of the other records to a new table;
deleting the old table and then renaming the new table.
