Unable to debug on a mobile 5 device from VS2005?

Hi,

I'm trying to debug / run my application on a mobile 5 pocket PC (Pocket
Loox 520) from my Visual Studio envirronment, but my VS2005 crashes while
deploying and activeSync disconnects????

ActiveSync is version 4.5.0
VS version is 8.0.50727.42

Any idea what could be wrong?

There is by the way, no problem when connecting to my pocket PC 2003

ActiveSync 4.5 is fairly new, could be a bug. You should try using 4.2 which
is tried and tested.

I am using 4.2 with my O2 Xda Orbit (WM5) and it works a treat.

....almost!
If I disconnect my device and connect it again then ActiveSync throw me off
after a short while (30 sec or so) - I have to restart my PC everytime I
want to connect to my device :-(.

Any idea?

I have seen this but with changing devices and logging in under different
users/domains on my PC.

Are you do any of the above?

Sometimes I do have another device connected to the PC, but the Mobile 5
device still causes problems even if I connect (putting it in the cradle) -
disconnect (out off the cradle) and immediately connect again (in the
cradle). Did you solve your problem?
