Unable to Create Appointment

We have someone who is trying to create an appointment in his Outlook
Calendar, but continues to receive the message that the form is not
available. It won't even open the dialog box to create it.

What can I be looking for to determine the problem? We have restarted his
computer, and still nothing.
 
You might want to start with providing some information to work with.
Version of Outlook?
Type of mail account?
Since when do you have this issue?
What changed since last time it worked?
Does it work in Outlook Safe Mode?
Some other things you would like to share?
 
You don't provide information such as version of Outlook or type of email
account but you can try one or both of the following:

a) Open Outlook using the /cleanreminders switch: Start > Run > outlook.exe
/cleanreminders

b) Close Outlook. Search for and rename frmcache.dat file. This file is
likely hidden so make sure your search includes hidden files and folders.

Test Outlook inbetween each method to see if it worked.
 
I apologize. We use Outlook 2003. I was just made aware of this problem
yesterday morning. To my knowledge nothing was changed to have caused this
problem.

Knowing the person involved, though, I will have to ask him what all he has
done to his computer. It is the default personal calendar he is having
problems adding an appointment in.

We do have our IT guy coming in today to look at it. I was just trying to
solve what I could before calling him. He'll be here for other things anyway.

Thank you for the suggestions though. I will show him them.
