Unable to convert ms access 2003 mdb to mde

Hi,

If anyone can help

I have a ms access application running on sql 2000, my application was
created in access 2000 but i upgraded the database to 02-03 format, now
when im trying to create an mde file it will prompt for a name and
create the new file as MDB and the machine will freeze to not
responding.

If I try to compile it on my old machine running access 2000 it will
compile but this is not good because its not in my office and i need to
go home each time I want to compile the file.

I have installed the complete cd and fully updated with the latest
updates from office update

You need to convert to the a2002, a2003 format.

At this point, you THEN try and compile you code. (in fact, I would STRONGLY
consider you do a de-compile first).

Can you compile the code on the a2003 box/version?

I compiled the code in the current 2002-2003 format and didnt have a
problem.
and then compiled the application to mde
