Unable to convert from hex to dec

I'm trying to convert a hex to dec, however the spread sheet cant understand
this command; =HEX2DEC("xx").
failure shows #NAME?

please help. thanks.

You just need to add-in the analysis toolpak. It's very easy:

Tools > Addins... > then check Analysis ToolPak
