Unable to connect to Wireless LAN

Matt

Hi,

I am running a laptop with Win2k and an Intel(R)
PRO/Wireless LAN 2100 3A Mini PCI Adapter. we use DHCP
for the the ip assignment and this works fine thru the
physical connection and is immediate. However when it
comes to the wireless it cannot connect to the DHCP
therefore the network..

in ipconfig it says autoconfiguration is enabled and has
assigned an auto-config ip address.. any help will be much
appreciated..

I am confused, you say ipconfig says it's got a DHCP assigned IP address and
also say it cannot connect to the DHCP server.
So I am assuming that DHCP has assigned a proper IP address.

Do you see strong signal strength? If yes, you might want to check and make
sure that SSID and WEP (if enabled) match.
