Unable to change Tools' options

For Word 2002, when I was in Tools' Options, and changed some options i
View tab, and clicked ok, Microsoft Word gave me yellow sign o
attention error, saying that "The number must be between 1 and 1638".
The only way out is to click cancel. How can I correct this error?

Hi Ted,

Probably the font size for the draft font (bottom right of the "Tools >
Options > View" dialog) somehow got changed.
If you insert a sensible font size, say "10" (pt), the error message should
go away.

What printer are you using as the default? I seem to recall a printer
causing this type of issue.

Thank you, Klaus and Beth, my font size has already been set at 10; m
default printer is HP Laser Jet 5L. Thanks for the help, but th
problem still exists.
Sorry for not answering sooner, I was out of town for awhile.
