Hi,

I am unable to change domain password of users from
Windows XP Prof clients only. But, I am able to do the
same thing from any other windows clients. I am using
Windows XP Prof with SP1. Servers (PDC & BDC) are windows
NT 4.0 with SP6a. Is this a bug in Windows XP or is there
any fine tuning that needs to be done at the client. Any
suggestions is welcome.
Thanks in advance.

You should be able to change passwords from Windows XP.
I know of problems with NT4, 95,98 machines with Active directory (Win
2000 Domains) but not the other way around!

What error message do you get?

Hi

If the user get the message "You do not have permission to change your
password.", this might be the issue:
