Hello,
It seems that a lot of us are having a problem burning
CD's, but I having the same problems as this previous
e-mail .
"I am trying to burn some music, but I continue to get
this message: Insert a
blank CD-R or blank CD-RW in CD Drive (E:), and then try
again."

I have changed the speed to 1X and purchase diffrent type
of blanks CDRW without success.

I am using the latest version of windows media player 10
and I cannot get any answers.

Does anyon knows how to solve this problem??

HELP.

Thanks
H :)

I get the same message: Insert a
blank CD-R or blank CD-RW in CD Drive (E:), and then try
again."
or it tells me that my disc is dirty! What's up with this
thing?
I also changed the speed to 1X and purchased diffrent
types of blanks CD's without success.

Does anyone know how to solve this??
I really regret updating!!!

Me too! This seems to be a common problem that no one knows how to solve.
I've tried calling Dell, I've tried the help command, I've tried it all and
still no one knows but almost all of my friends are having the same issue and
some have gone so far as to replace their whole computer because of it. If
anyone out there can help it sure would be appreciated!

I missed the details of this thread- what exactly is happening & for
how long has it been going on- always?

I get the same thing, have you found a fix on this yet? Please share if
you did.

thank you
Michelle

I also am unable to burn CDs but I am not even getting as far as you. Keeping
in mind that this is my first attempt - I have the playlist ready but when I
"start burn" I get an error message that is labeled COOD11CD - unknown error.
Dell wants $100 to help me "reconfigure the settings". Can anyone help me?

I was getting all the massages that everyone has recieved , but know I get a
massage that state something about copyright for the songs do you know what
to do

Okay, so we all have the same problem. A blank disc is, apparently not a disc
at all. Is anyone at Microsoft even bothering to monitor these threads?
