Unable to add new data to Access database

We have a number of users who connect to an access database over the network
to a shared folder that holds the database. All users have full access to
the folder / file, however users are now no longer able to add new data to
the database, they can edit and change old / current data, but when they add
new data, it reports no errors on input, but if they close the access
database and open it again, none of the new data displays.

I don't know a great deal about access but as I mentioned we checked all
users rights on the shared resources on the server and they have full access
right to the directory
