Unable to access some web-sites requiring passwords

T

Tim

I have Windows XP. I am unable to get into some web-
sites, especially all requiring passwords. The issue is
not my security level settings, but something that is
common to XP. This was fixed several months ago, but has
happened again. Does anyone have the fix?

Thanks.

Hi Tim,

Close Internet Explorer.

Start/run "regsvr32 softpub.dll"

When finished, retry the secure sites.
