Unable to access links in emails and im's

All of a sudden I am no longer to access any links that are in my Outlook
Express emails. My son informed me that links don't work either in instant
messaging. They have been working fine but all of a sudden, without our
changing anything that we are aware of, links no longer work. If you click
on a link it goes nowhere and says "done" at the bottom of the page. Can
anyone help? I have no idea where to start.

**A correction to this question. It does not say "Done" at the bottom of the
page once you click on the link. It does nothing but show the link address
at the bottom of the page, but never goes there. Thanks.

You mention Outlook Express - is that the email client you are using
(not quite clear)? If so, please post your question in an Outlook
Express group. If not, please clarify with your version of Outlook,
including service pack level.

Sorry, but I didn't see an Outlook Express group. Didn't mean to bother
anyone. Just needed some help.

It didn't "bother" me; it's just that I don't know anything about OE.
