Try
tools>internet options>security tab and see if there's anything in the
"Restricted Sites" zone that's got there by accident.
If no then close that and go start>search (for files and folders) and search
for a file called "HOSTS" (there is no extension, it's called hosts).
If there is open it with notepad and see if there's any reference to the BBC
in that. If you are not confident about removing any entries (there's
samples in the file anyway) post back with what's there and someone should
be able to give more details.
It is vaguely possible that some adware / spyware or a virus has done
something, however that's a more complex issue so post back with any other
"Odd" things that you see happening.
