Un-editable form

Is it possible to send a document so end users cannot edit it? It is an
answer sheet that when they open, if they were to hit 'enter' or 'space' the
entire column/row would move.

There are two ways to do this; first if nothing in this document is
going to electronically entered then I would convert to .PDF. If you
want some fields to be entered then you need to add form fields and
then use the document protection feature.

Steps to protecting a document:
1) Tools
2) Protect document
3) In section 2 in the box that appears to your right. Click the check
box "Allow only this type of editing in the document"
4) Choose the option the best fits you need in the drop down box.
5) Click "Yes, Start enforcing Protection"

Someone just told me about protection and I enabled it...however I can still
hit 'enter' and the form changes position. If I try to enable "all
formatting restrictions" then I get a message saying "Word will ignore
exeptions in this document." If I say 'okay' then all the formatting
changes, if I say 'no' then I'm back to being able to alter the spacing.
I've also played around with editing restrictions and neither "Read only" or
" "Filling in forms" seems to stop the ability to alter the spacing.
