UML thoughts and advice

Dear all

I work with a small team of developers (3 people) and we are looking at
trying a CASE tool that supports UML 2.0.

We haven't used this type of product before and don't really want to spend
thousands just yet.

I'm wondering if any of you guys have any recommendations or thoughts as to
what may be a good beginners tool, suitable for a small team.

The one I'm currently looking at is Enterprise Architect, I've had it
recommended on cost ( a few hundred dollars), and been told its pretty good.
Are there any others worth looking at in the sub $500 per user cost range.

Poseidon for UML is pretty good, and it's free.
(http://www.gentleware.com/). I've used it for small team work, pretty
successfully. For larger scale stuff, Rational Rose is the way to go.

I will take a look.

I've had a play with Borlands Together which looked ok. Any other
suggestions out there?
