You should learn to bottom post and stop trying to be a hall monitor.
Letting people know alternatives to Windows in a General newsgroup is ON
TOPIC. The good folks in the Linux groups already know about Ubuntu so
there's no need to post in a Linux group, your lame net policing
notwithstanding.

Perhaps 'ON TOPIC' but pure spam.

What abuse? Suggesting an alternative to Windows is on topic and not
abusive.

No, it violates the MS charter for this group, it will be reported as
abuse each time I care enough to complain. I encourage others to report
violations of MS groups charter to the abusers Usenet providers also.

The name of this newsgroup is MICROSOFT.public.WINDOWSXP.general.

And what is it about "general" that you don't understand?
Nothing to do with Ubuntu. So keep your spam to yourself.

To be spam, there has to be financial gain. I am making no money by
posting this so it isn't spam either.

I don't use MS servers so their charter doesn't apply to me. MS is free
to censor my right to free speech and the regularly do.

You may suggest that to those that use MS servers, not those who don't.

Now, again, what abuse?

Suggest you look up the word in a dictionary. It is a disruptive message.
(Which yours most certainly are)

Um, "disruptive" is an adjective. All adjectives are opinions. What you
consider disruptive is considered helpful by others. In fact, I found
out about Ubuntu in this very newsgroup and found it very, very helpful.

Now what you are not is a hall monitor and you do not get to tell me
what to post and what not to post. I consider YOUR posts to be disruptive.

Now, do something useful like go defrag your C drive or update your anti
malware apps.

Sorry, not supposed to top post.

Give it up, can't you?

Pitiful. Just pitiful.

Reminds me of the bum on the street corner with the hand-lettered sign
reading "Will work for sex."

I just hope Obama's new stimulus plan has some "Just go away" grants for
Linux users.

OK! Continue making an ass of yourself. I guess you won't change regardless.

You're the one who can't reply intelligently to content and has to
resort to name calling when out debated, not me, chum.

Yeah, you are.

So, did you get work?
I just hope Obama's new stimulus plan has some "Just go away" grants for

Not the trend, sorry. Ubuntu has doubled in share and Winders is losing
share.
