Hi, is there a newsgroup for Microsoft Works? Particularly looking for
discussions concerning Word. Thanks

Please understand that Works and Word are two different products. So make
sure that anything you post is very clear which product you are using and
posted to the appropriate newsgroup.

Except that Word is included in the Works Suite and that it's identical to
the one in Office...;o) Obviously if they're running vanilla Works then,
yes, a Works group would be more appropriate.
