Type Hashtable not defined

I am trying to use Hashtable . When I declare
hashtbale in my codebehind file as

Dim x as HashTable

I get the following error:

'Type Hashtable not defined . '

Why am I getting this error and what should I do?

HashTable is defined in the System.Collections namespace. You need to
either add the namespace to your declaration or use an Imports statement.
