.txt attachments

I recently started having .txt attachments on my incoming
Outlook 2002 emails. These attachments contain identical
text to the body of the emails. How do I stop these
redundant attachments? Thanks.

If Outlook has been open for a REALLY long time (days or weeks) this
sometimes happens. Usually shutting down Outlook and restarting does the
trick but sometimes it may require a system reboot.

the (insert latest virus name here) virus, all mail sent to my personal
account will be deleted without reading.
