LogonUIBootRandomizer & Boot Editor
http://www.belchfire.net/~userxp/

LogonUIBootRandomizer
It's a Logon and Boot screens manager for WinXP
(based on an idea by M. Deepak)

Boot Editor
It’s a program that can help you create boot screens
for WinXP. Also, can change the default palette of
boot screens and the vertical position of progress bar.

I much prefer bootskin. It takes a different approach with less radical
modifications to Windows. I can't see how it could be easier to use.
One significant limitation: for now, it only uses 4-bit color schemes.
It's actually interesting to see what can be accomplished that way (this
might be an unusual view). If they ever move up to 8-bit it will be a
great improvement.

Great program, I tried it, I liked it :)

Very simple to use and easy to create a new boot screen.

I uploaded my first attempt in making a Boot Screen with BootSkin
to http://www.wincustomize.com/
The Boot Screen is called "Tiger Wall",
It can take up to 5 days before it shows up on
the wincustomize.com's site.

I'll look forward to it. I tried converting a couple I used in Win98,
but found that 4-bit barrier too high for my scenery-oriented favorites.
