Two workbooks open when starting Excel

When I start Excel 2003, two blank workbooks open - Book1 and Book2. I would
like only 1 workbook to open. The is nothing in my XLStart folder (except
Personal.xls) and I do not have anything filled in for the alternate startup
folder.

Thanks for any help you can give me!

Are you sure it is two workbooks?

Perhaps just two windows with the same workbook.

Do you see Book.xls:1 and Book.xls:2 in the Title bar?

If so, close one of them and save.
