Hi There,

I am wondering if I can use two video cards in my Computer

One AGP and One PCI

The agp card is ati Rage128 GL AGP

The other is a diamond PCI

My plans is I can do it is use the tv out on the ATI Card and use

The monitor on the Diamond Card

But when I turn on the computer she only detect one but here is

Two show in the device manager

I like to keep on PowerPoint and use the other one like a normal

Monitor (do basic things)

Is there a program I can use to do this?

Plus is my bois it only got two choices agp and pci

Hope you can help

Thanks

You're on the right track. Double check the device manager and see if
either one has a yellow exclamation mark. That would indicate it detected
the card but no driver is installed for it.

First get the cards working one at a time. Remove the AGP card and get the
Diamond card fully operational with drivers before you put the AGP card back
in. In the BIOS of the PC there should be a setting to use the PCI as the
primary card. Change this to PCI, or when you boot, the display will boot to
the ATI card and your Diamond won't have a picture until Windows loads.

Once both have the correct drivers you can enable. the display settings box
to use the Diamond as the main desktop. Then set the ATI to video out.
This should work in 98orXP.

I suggest you get an extra VGA monitor for the ATI card so you can see when
it's enabled.
I've used a dual monitor setup for years and wouldn't have it any other way.

Please report your progress here.
