I want to have two completely different sets of contacts. My home contacts
and a business set of contacts that I can back up at work and take home and
modify and then update at work. When I tried to load the work contacts it
automatically puts them in my contacts file even though I added a folder
that's named "Business Contacts" and the CD backup is named "Business
Contacts".

How did you copy the stuff in your backed-up PST?

Copy the PST file from CD to hard drive....remove the read-only attribute.
Open that PST file in Outlook (file | open....). Open its contacts folder.
Select all. Copy/paste to the folder you created in your *main* PST file.

You may then need to right-click on the Business Contacts folder you created
and go to properties, Outlook Address Book, and tick the box, if you want to
use it as an address book.
