Two monitors instead of one. ????

I have a laptop (Inspiron\2650) within the settings tab
of the display properties Im getting the 1 & 2 screen
icons in the window as opposed to the one standard
monitor. It keeps giving me the multiple monitors options
and everytime I try to change it back to plug and play
monitor it won't keep. I go back into it after I exit out
the display window and it goes right back to the multiple
monitors choice.

How do I get just the one monitor back to show up when I
go into settings within the display properties?
Any help would be much appreciated. THANX N ADVANCE.

Your have support for two monitors. If you ever want to plug your laptop
into a second monitor, you're all set. Otherwise, forget about it. It's only
a drawing.
