Semprom 2800+ is rated in comparison to Celeron 2.8GHz, so
is a lesser performance solution. (Celeron is slower than
Pentium 4, due to the difference in L2 cache size.)
If the Sempron was overclocked a lot, then it might be a
better solution. Otherwise, buy a better AM2 processor.
