TV tuners vs All-In-Wonder

Just upgraded my vidcard from AIW 9600XT to Sapphire X1600 Pro and MSI 550
tuner card. The Sapphire kicks the crap out of the 9600XT(1438 overall score
vs 4006 in 3Dmark2005 Free Edition) but when it comes to prime recording and
tv watching quality, nothing does it better than the All-In-Wonder cards.
Even my oldest AIW Rage 128 had better picture than the 550.
And the ease of use of the AIWs, not to mention the extra software, is
second to none. ATI's Catylyst Control Centre does bite the big one though.
I hope they got it right in their X1900 AIW

Just had a message popup while recording with my AIW stating that the show
was protected and wanted to stop recording. As long as you don't click the
"OKAY" box it will record to you hard drive. But if it comes up when your at
work, your hard drive might get full depending on your settings. Perhaps the
tv tuner cards have had their death nell sounded.
