TV and Catalyst Media Center

I just installed a TV Wonder 650 on a Vista system. Is there a way to
launch TV directly instead of going through Catalyst Media Center? I
used to place TV icon on desktop using MMC, but don't see that option
in the new CMC.

If so, I haven't found it. BTW, my experience w/ CMC has not been that
great. It's slow to open, the scheduler is unreliable (it opens on schedule
but doesn't always turn on the TV function and record) and has a clumsy
interface, the tv guide is slow to update and is less useful than the
Gemstar guide, you can't schedule a recording to last for more than 3.5
hours, and there's no way to due a quick record for a limited time (i.e., if
you manually record, you have to manually stop the recording). MMC, which
isn't designed to work properly with the 650 (an is infamous for having
issues even with the cards it's designed for), has better features, IMHO.
