I am a new user of XP and close to being computer
illiterate. I have done a very little bit of work with
Excel but none with Access, Outlook, Power Point or Works
Task Launcher. Are there some tutorials available
somewhere that I have just not been able to find?

Thank you for your patience with my ineptitude.

Mr. Lanier has provided excellent sites. There are also good books on
using Windows XP and various applications like the Microsoft Office
ones you mention. The "For Dummies" series is quite good, despite the
unfortunate name. Another great source is to learn to use Google
(www.google.com), a wonderful Internet search engine. Putting in the
search term "PowerPoint tutorial" brings up about 369,000 links. The
first ones look extremely promising. Good for you for wanting to learn.
