Turning off automatic name check

We are using Office 2002 and we need to turn-off the automatic name check in
Outlook. I have unchecked the advance option to automatically check names,
but it still checks the receipient against the address book.

Is there something I'm missing?

Thanks in advance.

Ok...i fixed the problem or at least found a work around

I failed to mention that i am setting up faxing from Outlook and I'm typing
a fax number in the To: field.

If I type [fax:111-1111] the automatic name check will not pop-up and the
fax will go out. Pretty slick when it works.

Thanks anyways....

FYI,

The autocomplete file (NK2) also stores fax records, so make sure that the
suggest name feature is turned off or you'll end up driving yourself crazy
every time you type in the letter "f".
