turning computer on with password protect

i am a new computer student learning at home. i wanted to
secure my computer so no one other than the fAMILY COULD
USE IT. however as soon as we turn computer on it asks
for a password. HOW DO Iemove this now and just set up
user accounts. I am the computer administrator. I set
the password up in safe mode but can't access that either
to remove or change the password

I think that setup in the BIOS on the PC, Hold down DEL when the PC starts
up and look for the password section.. make sure it`s set to SETUP ( i
think ) Change this if it`s not this..
