Smart Device Framework 2.0 is still in Beta but works. I suppose will
also work for WM 5.0.

Thanks, but I was refering to the phone component of a PocketPC, not
the whole device . I also would like to know how to turn on/off the
wi-fi component.

I'm not aware of any standard API to turn on or off the phone portion of the
hardware.

I believe that I've previously posted how to disable a network adapter by
setting a registry value under the adapter's path and Unbinding the adapter
(OpenNETCF.Net can do that for you).
