Turn on Intellisense for automated phone number formatting in Out.

Previous versions of Outlook Contacts have automatically formatted
recognizable U.S. format 10-digit telephone numbers, but my Outlook 2003
running on XP Professional doesn't seem to want to. Suggestions? Thanks
