Turn off screen update

Hi,
I have code to create slides and objects, but I would like to turn off
screen activities during this process, then, when it finalizes, turn it on
again.

Does your code select shapes? If you avoid that, it'll prevent quite a bit of
on screen entertainment and your code will run much faster.

Post some examples if you like.
