Running Win Xp:

Is there a way to turn off the Delete File Confirmation in Windows
Explorer? I'm doing a lot of cleanup on a number of workstations and
clicking that damn "Yes" box after every file deletion is driving me
nuts.

TIA!

yes, right-click on the recycle bin, properties, un-check 'Show Delte
Confirmation Dialog'.

Hi

Right-click on your Recycle Bin and select "Properties".

Under the "Global tab", remove the checkmark for
"Display delete confirmation dialog", then click "OK".

You can turn off the prompt in the Recycle Bin's properties - or - if you
hold down the shift key while deleting, the files will bypass the Recycle
Bin and the prompt won't appear.

Hi

When holding down the shift key while deleting, I'm always asked for
delete confirmation (also even if "Display delete confirmation dialog"
in Recycle Bin properties is unchecked)

Thank you for pointing that out, Torgeir.
