turn off auto preview?

when i try to print in word it goes to preview withou my command. I would
prefer not to go that route. how to turn it off please? Windows XP

There isn't any function in Word itself that causes this behavior.
It's most likely a setting in your printer's Properties dialog. You
can get there either through Start menu > Settings > Printers & Faxes,
select your printer, right-click and choose Properties; or by clicking
the Properties button in Word's Print dialog. Look for a check box or
other item that refers to "preview".
