tsweb client connections

I used to be able to logon to client machines (inluding the server) through TSWEB, by using the appropriate LAN ip address
but recently something changed and now I cannot. (i.e. server=192.168.1.1 and client is 192.168.1.20, both worked
I have several clients that need this functionality without upgrading to 2003 SBS
Did microsoft change this in an update
Is there any workaround besides upgrading to 2003 SBS

Please help, running out of time.....

Do you know, by chance, what may have changed? (configuration, hotfixes,
etc.)
What kind of error (if any) are you getting?
