There wouldn't happen to be an eventlog entry that
accompanies this error, would there?

The curious thing about the event viewer is that I know it
has been corrupted. When I first open the event viewer it
opens to the System Log....but if I try and click on the
Application log and then click back on the System log, it
reports that there are no events.....even though there
just were events. Since I can only see the System events
errors....some that might have to do with the problem at
hand are as follows:

EventID 8003 - Source MRxSmb: This is master browser
thing that may not have anything to do with my broblem.
It seems another laptop (XP Home) on the network thinks
its the master browser so an election is being forced
(whatever that means)

EventID 5788 - Source NETLOGON: Attempt to update HOST
Service Principle Names (SPNs) of the computer object in
Active Directory failed. The updated values were
<UNAVAILABLE> and <UNAVAILABLE>. The following error
occured, There are no more endpoints available from the
endpoint mapper.

EventID 5789 - Source NETLOGON: Attempt to update DNS
Host Name of the computer object in Activ eDirectory
failed. The updated value was <OURSERVER.DOMAIN> The
following error occured.
There are no more endpoints available from the endpoint
mapper.

The problem has to be with Active Directory not
recognizing this terminal server with DNS...but how do I
fix this? Reinstall the DNS on my Domain server? Will
that fix the Active Directory problem as well? Thanks

Umm...did you have a chance to look at eventid.net for
those eventlog ids to see if there is any information?
