Trying to unhide folders

In an attempt to find some files somehow I hid a bunch of
folders in Document and Settings. They show up now as
light yellow folders rather than darker yellow. The
problem I have after doing this is when I go to Start and
Programs allot of them are missing now. Is there a way to
unhide them and make it return to darker yellow folders.

Any help is appreciated

Right click one of those folders and select "properties", then clear the
checkbox at bottom labled "hidden".

If they're all in the same main folder I believe you can use ctrl-a to
select the lot, then right-click one and change remove the hidden
attribution for all.
