Trying to get sound with MM and Dazzle DVC 80

I'm trying to use a Dazzle DVC 80 with Movie Maker 2.1 and I can capture the
images, but when I click on finish, the program just sits there until I
finally close it out with the usual Ctrl-Alt-Del dance. The video is saved,
but no sound. In Device manager, DAzzle DVC 80 (2) #3 is shown as an imaging
device and in the sound area it shows Dazzle DVC 80 Audio (2). I was able to
update the Audio drivers to the XP drivers, but I get error messages when
attemmpting to upgrade the Video drivers.

Any suggestions? I tried a post on here before, but no response, no one has
a dazzle DVC 80 that has given them trouble?

Hi Gerry.....I don't know if i'll be of much help. But I recently bought
the Dazzle 80, so that I could capture analog video from a camera with
wedding video. In the end it all worked fine.....I used s-video and a y
connector for the audio from the camera into the Dazzle. At first it
wouldnt work and was VERY frustrating.....and then I tried all of the
different 'audio' choices...i.e. aux, stereo, etc etc..... I got down to
the final choice of 'microphone' and that worked! So my feeble suggestion
would be to try choosing the various options first and do short clips....and
then test to see if any of them work. Good luck.
